After a few days
Annika's pov:
I woke up in the morning for a new fresh start for my life. For a few days, I have not been talking to anybody because of the messed-up thoughts about my life. I know he wanted me to keep distance from himself, and it hurts me to the core. I don't have any idea why he is behaving like that? And he knows how Aarohi gets on my nerves, but still, he has involved her. Kabir is also possessive about me because while finding the reason, I will break myself. But most importantly, I have to focus on my project it was my dream to work with that company, which is finally coming true, so I won't let any fucking reason to interfere in my life. While overthinking, I got ready for the office and wore my blue blazer, which I love the most, and blue is my lucky color, so why not. I got ready, and I had my breakfast because mumma and Papa were both out of town because of work purposes. I drove towards my company.

"Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Today, we are gathered to sign a prestige project with Goodies Limited." I said to which everyone made an applause
We sign the deal without any restrictions or discussions. As any of us didn't want any drama to occur while we were signing the contract.
Kabir asked something. " aaj itni shanti kyu hai sab pata nhi kiska matam mana rahe hai?"
"Tera kyunki Agar tu iske baad bola toh mein tera zarur bana dungi." I whispered in frustration
"Hawww tere acche dost ko marke tujhe narak milega narak. Marna hai tu usse Mar jo tujhe kuch dino se taunt Mar raha hai. Mujhe jaise sharif ko kyu Marna chahti hai." He whispered in dramatically. I gave him a side eye to let him know that I was pissed. To which he put a finger on his lips.
"So Ms.Agrawal deal is signed. I hope our contract does wonders and boosts our product sale." Shiv said in a professional tone while hand shaking with me.
"Surely Mr.Oberoi" I said while giving a genuine smile, to which he nodded. Rude.
"I hope your company won't disappoint us." Aarohi said in between with a not so sweet smile. But a fake smile.
"Don't worry, Ms. Mittal, we won't.... but I will kick your ass if you get on my nerves." Last part, I said myself with a fake smile.
"Jo tu soch rahi hai woh mujhe sunai kyu de raha hai." Kabir whispered in my ear and smiled meakingly
"Jo sunai diya woh karke bhi bata sakti hu batau?" I whispered angrily in his ear, to which he shook his head
"So just shut the fuck up" I said
"Tu aaj kal bhut gaaliyan dene lag gyi hai ganga jal se snaan karwana padega tera." He whispered innocently
I again gave him a side eye to which he broke the eye contact and looked around everything but me. Of course, he spoke over the board.
Everything went well, and no chaos was created in the company . The best part I got the project. But there was a sudden feeling that something was not right or might not go well. So to relax my mind I went to my company's canteen to grab some coffee. While I was lost in my thoughts, Aarohi's voice broke my chain of thoughts
"Celebrating your success, ha....." She said arrogantly while blocking my way
"I am in no mood to argue, Aarohi," I said nonchalantly
"Ohh, so you are scared kitten now who is afraid to argue." She said while smirking
"I am the lioness and will be one no need to prove to someone like you....." I said while pointing my one finger towards her.
"But you have to prove something to someone darling..." After saying she spilled all my hot coffee on her hand, which burnt her hand.
She yelled while holding her hand. " ahhhh........... shivansh..... shivansh.......my hand." I was taken a back by her sudden stunt she pulled
As soon as I was going to react, shiv came and held her hand. I was going to say something " Shiv, I didn't......" But she cut me off and said," See shivansh, what she did? What if something happened to me?" Said dramatically
Showing her acting skills in which she is a pro, but I know Shiv won't trust her because he knows I won't do anything like this.
"Aarohi, why did you come first of all?" He interrogated her while I was standing in confidence.
"Just to grab some coffee because I haven't had my breakfast." She said innocently
"We could have buy on our way then," he said while grabbing a water bottle and washing her burnt hands
"It just that I was hungry and wanted to eat something, but Annika blocked my way and started arguing with me, and out of jealousy, she spilled coffee on me" she mumbled as if she was innocent
"No, Shiv, she is lying.... I didn't do anything." I said to him while having eye contact because I know he could read my eyes.
"First of all, Ms. Agrawal, it's Mr. Oberoi for you, and secondly, it's clearly indicating that she is telling the truth because you are blocking her way and standing right in front of the coffee machine." He said in the hard tone
"No... sh...I mean, Mr.oberoi, I didn't block her way she did and started arguing," I said while pointing at her while looking at him
"So she is lying..... is that you want to say that she purposely spilled that hot coffee to gain my sympathy and blame you." He exclaimed
"Exactly, that's what I am saying to you...." I said, but he cut me off
"Just shut up!!!!" He said I flinched at his higher tone.
"I didn't know that you could stoop so low and burn her hand out of jealousy seriously. How could you?" He said in his higher tone, gathering the crowd.
"No, I didn't sh... Mr. Oberoi, " I tried to explain while controlling my urge to cry.
"I didn't want to hear any of your fallacious explanation, and I am not dumb who can't understand who is right who is wrong." He said while leaving no room for my explanation, and I was on the verge of a breakdown, but I tried to control my tears, but some disobedient ones fell from my eyes. Fuck these tears.
Meanwhile, kabir came and said, " At least hear her, or if you don't want to, then you can check CCTV footage to confirm." Reasoning him
"Ahhh..... shivansh, it hurts, and you think I am doing this purposely seriously. Why will I spill such a hot coffee on my hand? Huhhh..." She said while cutting kabir while I was just standing there numb without any emotions, just tears flowing from my eyes.
Flashback
Age - 16
When I was just talking randomly with my friends just when aarohi arrived and said ," shivansh ki saamne to badi shaant rehti hai aur jab koi kuch bolta hai uss par Chad jati hai"
"Woh kya hai aarohi mujhe mere liye stand lena aata hai unlike you jo shivansh ki picche chupti rehti ho aur excuses dhundti ho Taki woh tumhare saath rahe I like to fight my own battles you know." I said while crossing my hands
"Tumhe lagta hai mujh mein aur tumne se choose karna pada toh woh tumhe choose karega... huhh.. in your dreams." She said while showing her baseless attitude.
"Kya bakwaas kar rahi ho tum." I said irritatingly
"Let's test na dekhta hai kya hota hai." After saying that she threw water on my clothes.
"What the hell?? Pagal ho gyi jo kya????" I said in a pitched tone
When abruptly, shiv came into the scene and said, " What is happening here, guys? Aur Annika tumhari uniform puri Gili kaisi hui, " he said, worrying
"Aarohi ne kiya.... bet lagna chahti thi ki tum usko choose karoge ya mujhe." I said while cleaning my clothes
"What??? she is lying shivansh you know mein esa kuch nhi kar sakti." She said innocently, believing that he would believe her.
"Woh kabhi juth nhi bolti"
"Mein kabhi juth nhi bolti," we said simultaneously
Present
When everyone was busy taking the side, I yelled, " stopppppppp!!!!"
"I said stop everyone." I shouted again
"Stop it, kabir. Stop giving explanations to whom those who don't believe." I said blankly
"And you, Mr.oberoi, if you think I did it purposely, then let it be then believe that. I don't care. But in the end I will say the same thing I didn't do it." I said while on the verge of controlling my emotions that are visible by my tears.
"If you are done debating, then leave." I said blankly
"But.... Annika." Kabir said
"Not now, kabir enough is enough." I said to which he nodded.
"Everyone back to their work. There is no prize distribution going on. Out everybody." I ordered
I was not able to say anything. My mind was blank. I felt everything was just against me. My whole body stiffened when he accused me and not trusting me. Am i that bad that he just accused me for nothing just a misunderstanding like seriously this is not the shivansh i was friends with. The way he bashed me boiled my blood. So i gave my answer and now i don't give fuck about anyone. While conversing with my mind i reached home.My mind was fucked up with everything that has happened. Not able to handle it, I crashed into my bed, muffling my sobs. I cried.
"Why didn't you believe me shiv? What has happened that you are so harsh on me? You know I would never do such thing then to you just lashed out. I know you are holding grudges for something, but for what, I don't have any damn idea." I cried after a while of my crying session I gone to a deep slumber.

That was a Rollercoaster chapter starting with funny bantering and ending with crying. I hope you liked the chapter.
Aarohi has started creating some misunderstanding. Will Annika will be able to deal with all that and clear with them with shivansh?
